Day 1 – Remove and label: We arrange a pickup day and then carefully remove and label your cabinet doors, drawer fronts and hardware. The doors and drawer fronts are taken to our shop for refinishing.
Day 2 – Clean, repair and prime: At the shop, we thoroughly clean and degrease each surface. We sand for proper paint adhesion, fill any blemishes, sand again, then apply a high-bond primer.
Day 3 – Spray the doors and drawer fronts: We apply two coats of paint in our controlled spray booth using HVLP spray equipment for a smooth, consistent finish. Once the doors and drawer fronts are complete, we schedule the on-site work for your cabinet built-ins.
Day 4 – Prepare the kitchen: We protect and seal off the kitchen area. Then we prepare the build-ins using the same careful cleaning, sanding, repair and priming process.
Day 5 – Spray the built-ins: We apply multiple coats of premium cabinet grade paint with HVLP spray equipment to create a smooth, brush-mark-free finish with a factory-like appearance.
Day 6 – Reinstall and inspection: We reinstall the doors and drawer fronts, then walk through the finished work with you and inspect every surface together. Your 3 Year Written Workmanship Warranty begins upon completion.
We use low VOCÂ paint to ensure you and your family are not subject to harmful odours or chemicals during the process.
