Italian Acrylic Waterbourne Lacquer

There are many forms of Lacquer to give you a durable finish. For example, oil-based lacquer has a durable, hard finish, but is very hard, and in time, causes yellowing and becomes brittle and chips.

We prefer using an "acrylic waterbourne lacquer", which is as durable as oil-based, but is less toxic and odourless and is well known for its resistance to yellowing and more flexible and more resistant to scratches.

Waterbourne Acrylic Enamel

We use "Command" from Benjamin Moore. Demonstrating the best waterbourne Polyurethane enamel paint, specifically with kitchen cabinets in mind. The paint cures to an exceptionally hard furniture grade finish that can stand up to the busiest kitchens. You might expect more chemical content with all that durability, but "Command" is a Low-VOC formula, and less susceptible to scratches and discoloration.
